Meyers Service Scholars

Nila Navarrete (2025/2026)Nila Navarette is an 11th-grade Bishop Walsh student who embodies the spirit of The Margaret Meyers Scholarship. Nila is a dedicated volunteer and leader whose experience includes service roles in Vacation Bible School, soccer coaching, Archdiocesan Youth Missionary Protagonism Lab, Bishop Walsh’s Spartan Serve, and many other activities. Nila’s service impacts have fostered faith, sportsmanship, and community service. She has been inspired by the work of other volunteers who have touched her life, and is inspired to give back through service that makes positive impacts on the lives of others. Nila aspires to create a Catholic youth group and is considering a college major in marine biology or psychology.
